Travel Exercise Equipment That Fits in Your Suitcase

Do you love long term travelling but hate when your exercise routine falls off?

If you’re anything like me, exercise is crucial to your physical health and mental health. I depend on my daily sweat swesh to help combat my stress and keep my mind positive and healthy.

There was a time in the past I would just skip my exercise routine when travelling but not anymore. For me, it’s important enough to keep up, even when abroad.

Today I’m sharing with you a few key pieces of travel exercise equipment you can take with you when you travel abroad or move overseas. And most importantly, all of these items will easily fit in your suitcase. In fact, they will all fit into a carry-on suitcase.

I know because I took all of these with me to both Angola and Argentina.

Let’s check them out:

Exercise Bands

These are one of my favorite pieces of equipment that I use each week, even while at home. They might be small but they are mighty. I get such a great burn on my inner and outer legs and glutes each time I use them. They’re also great around my wrists to get a good burn going in my shoulder area.

Ankle Weights

Now these will add a little bit of weight to your bag (just 2 lbs.), but if you enjoy using them, it could be worth it. I have been using these Bala ankle and wrist weights nonstop for the past 4 months and have really noticed a difference in my toning efforts. Not only are they aesthetically pleasing but they’re effective! I’ve officially become obsessed with the results. At this point, they’re a must have in my exercise rotation.

Core Sliders

I used these a lot when we lived in Buenos Aires. I loved that I could easily take them in my suitcase and use them to get an intense core workout. But they’re also great for your hamstrings. Put them under your feet, lift up your tush and push your legs in and out. Yeah, you’ll feel the burn after a few reps. They’re dual sided so you can use the soft side on wood flooring and tile and the hard side on carpets.

Massager Stick for Sore Muscles

Okay, I literally cannot live without a massaging stick for my legs. When my legs are sore and have multiple knots after working out or running, this is the only thing that helps alleviate the pain. I found this travel size massaging stick on Amazon and have taken it with me on all my trips since. You won’t get caught abroad with sore leg muscles when you have this travel sized massaging stick

There you have it! Travel exercise equipment that will keep you active wherever you are in the world. All these pieces of equipment will help you get a great total body workout in any global hotel room or hostel.
